Ask the Fastlane > Eagles Tour Schedule History

Is there a web site listing all concert dates and opening acts and locations for the Eagles? I am looking for info on a concert in May 1974 at Mershon Auditorium in Columbus, Ohio. Who was the opening act? Thanks.

Sorry, but don't have an answer, but would love to see an archive of show dates. I saw "the boys" often from 1976-1980, but lost alot of my belongings from those days, including pictures, ticket stubs, t shirts and programs, and would love to put together a time line documenting the time I followed the band.

A possibility is Dan Fogelberg. He was the opening act for The Eagles in Omaha about that time.

Dan Fogelberg passed away several years ago. Much of what I have read is that they do not use an opening act, after all they are The Eagles.

I think I saw the Eagles with Dan Fogelberg at the Civic Auditorium in Omaha.

This would have been in 1974 or 1975. Were you born yet? LOL

I saw them in Evansville IN around that time, and the opening acts were Souther Hillman Furay and Lynyrd Skynyrd. The crowd was pretty rude to the band because LS had everybody rocking, and the Eagles weren't heavy enough for them. The band cut the concert short and left in a snit.

Anyone know if the 2013 Tour is or will be in Cleveland?

Remember seeing The Eagles as an opening act in Honolulu in 1971-72. Anyone know who they opened for?

Just read that the Eagles asked the fans in Atlanta not to take any photos(from any devise), turn off their phones and stay seated. I can appreciate the first two requests, but there's no way I could ever stay seated (nor did I)when they played fast songs. In fact, if there was a section (not in the nose bleed seats) where I could stand the whole time, that's where I'd be. I'm glad they didn't ask us to stay seated in Greensboro, because I couldn't have done it....impossible!

For a compendium of where the Eagles played, this site might help for the early years... http://www.angelfire.com/rock3/deliverin/MEISNER/randyconcerts.htm.
It's not specifically the Eagles but it follows Meisner's time with them and has all of his concert dates with the Eagles on it. It seems to be fairly complete.. They missed having Jackson Browne at the Waikiki Bandshell with the Eagles in 1974... but that is only important because that was one I was at. Honolulu in 1974, Tulsa in 2014, and shows in between - 40 years and still going strong.
