The band is expected to launch their 40th anniversary tour sometime next year, after the new DVD set comes out. Nothing has been announced yet, though.

Hi all! Several months ago we were hearing about a "special" tour the guys would be doing late in 2012. I believe Joe Walsh specifically mentioned it. Does anyone know if a revamped show is in the works? I saw that there are now three dates on the schedule for the remainder of the year but I'd really like to see the Eagles look back in time and bring out some of their old and not so well know stuff as well as new stage set ups that show times gone by.
