I saw the Eagles for the first time in Detroit in 1974 and they were pretty awesome then. We saw them in Tacoma last week and the 40 years in between, despite 14 years apart, have done them a lot of good. They have honed their craft, perfected their vocals, worked on their stage presence and matured very nicely.
They delighted the crowd over and over with most of our favorite songs and kept a running dialogue about their journey over the past 42 years. The live performance, for me, completed the 'History of the Eagles' and left me filled to the brim with a very warm heart.
I say "Thank you" again to these very talented gentlemen who continue to sing my heart and enrich all of our lives.
