Don appeared as himself in an episode of this NBC sitcom. He discussed model/fashion editor Nina Van Horn's role in breaking up the Eagles during a mock-Biography about Wendy Malick's character. Dear sir: Your song writing is so wonderful. You have a rare gift. I love to look at you and listen to you because of you and your talents but also because you favor my late husband. He was a little guy who looked good with gray hair and a beard. He loved music. He was my only true love. I have no delusions that you are a rock star and he was just my love, You just keep him alive for me. He was a gentle man. He loved people, he loved his wife, his kid, fishing, hunting, and taking pain pills...one day he screwed up. He quit and did not tell me and had to take care of his Dad and he snapped and and he found the deer rifle in his closet and he used a bullet on himself. Every time you sing Desperato or the Heart Of The Matter I feel like he is telling me something. I don't feel so alone when I see you and hear you sing.
