I was so pleased to finally see Eagles Live after being their fan for more than 20 years (well I started when I was quite young :)) I've read that some of you said Henley was not as enegetic as the others, but I think otherwise. I could see him giving his best when he's playing drums and his voice was so great (except Boys of Summer, which may not be a good "live" song as I don't think it's good either in his "Inside Job" DVD - perhaps the CD version is the best) On the contrary, I see Glenn struggling with some high notes esp first half of the concert. "You belong to the city" started great but ended up abruptly.

All fans should be pleased since nearly all best of the best were being performed. (Of course, I still miss "Best of My Love", "Sad Cafe", "The Last Resort" and a handful of Henley's, "The End of Innocence", "Heart of the Matter"...) I wonder whether I will be able to see them again in HK but it was definitely one of the best performances by non-local artists here in Hong Kong. The ticket is worth every cent of it.

Last but not least, any Henley fans out there?

Erica,

Nice to hear you enjoyed Eagles in HK.Needless to say,I am an Eagle die hard.Use to live in HK, but now in Thailand. Was at the Bangkok gig last week. You're right,I missed "Sad Cafe",Best of my love" and the Last Resort too.How I wished I was at HK for the gig too.U know what, during show time in HK, I was imagining meself being there and clocking away the minutes of the show, wondering what song they were playing at that moment."I'll meet you at the beautiful shore in the sweet bye and bye"!
