You can buy tickets directly from the Casper Events Center. Google that and it will take you to the home page and then you have to get the phone number and call (or at least I did, I couldn't get through to buy them over the Internet). I have no idea how many have been sold as yet. I called a few days after they went on sale and got pretty good seats. Good luck.

Last night was so awesome! This was our 5th time seeing the Eagles since December 1999 and this is tied with our first concert for the best! I really think that they were surprised by the very enthusiastic reception they received here. In fact, sorry folks who will be attending Billings, Reno, & Fresno, but I think we spoiled them for other audiences on this tour (wink, wink)!

I had a slight moment of panic when I recognized a former student of mine in the audience. He must have only been recently released from prison. It's what got him put in prison that worried me--four years ago he was convicted of calling in bomb threats to our high school to try to rush in and be a hero during the search! This would have been a prime opportunity for him to try it again in a very crowded place so I was concerned that he hadn't been rehabilitated while in prison. Had anything occurred, I would have given the police his name as a prime suspect immediately! Luckily, he must have just been there for the music!

Clothing choices:

Don looked like he was ready to go fishing on the Sweetwater River with his cargo pants and untucked long sleeve shirt.

Glenn wore jeans, black T, wing tips (I think), and he wore two different massively bright vertically striped button down shirts, untucked of course.

Timothy was in tight jeans and long sleeved shirt with vest for the first set and he changed into just a blue long sleeved shirt for second set.

Joe was in a long sleeved blue T with a short-sleeved black T over it and what I thought were grayish cords. My husband thought they were pinstriped but they seemed to have more contour than that.

Steuart was in black T and black jeans. Does that man ever wear colors?

Glenn started off by saying that he had been waiting for 32 years to say, "Hellooooo Wyoming!" I loved that because that's exactly how long I've been waiting to hear him say it! OK, I exaggerate a little because my 32nd birthday isn't until July but he was close!

The set list was pretty much the same as I have seen posted for other shows. The first half was a little slow to get the crowd going but Joe inadvertently got a reaction in one place. Evidently he didn't get the memo that Wyoming is ULTRA conservative so when he spoke before "In the City", he made a comment about the poor leadership by the president and his intention to run for president and he got a loud chorus of boos (not from me, but I'm a liberal oddball in this state) but he good naturedly said, "Yeah, that's how I feel about it too."

Joe redeemed himself in the second set by wailing on the guitar and getting the place jumping during "Life's Been Good." Glenn laughed when he changed the lyric from "I ride in the back in case I'm attacked" to "I ride in the back and watch playoffs with Kobe and Shaq."

I couldn't see Timothy for most of the concert as there was a really tall Harley dude blocking my view of him and he didn't end up on the screen much except for his two lead vocal songs.

At first, Don seemed a little aloof but by the end of the night he almost seem shocked by the rockin' reception they were getting which seemed to please him. Glenn really seemed like a happy camper the whole evening. I think this is the most enjoyment I have ever seen him express during a concert.

The place was on fire for the encores. “Rocky Mountain Way” got a huge reception as you might expect in Wyoming. After “Desperado,” the band almost didn't seem like they wanted it to end but of course, it did. I'm sure the crowd would have let them play longer however!

This was so fabulous to see them playing so close to my home! We drove back last night and didn't get in until 3:30. The alarm went off at 6 am so my husband and I could get to school to administer the last finals of the school year. We're dragging a little bit but it was definitely worth it!

One little side note.

I was shocked to see that they serve alcohol in bottles at the Casper Events Center! All of the other concerts that we have been to sell alcohol in the plastic cups for safety purposes so it was startling to see people with tons of bottles at their disposal to do any amount of damage! Is this still the case in other venues or is Casper way behind the times?
