Don Henley in Windsor Podcast

We just wanted to post a few things about the show. We're dead tired, but are having a great time on our trip. We have a podcast recorded, but putting it up will have to wait until we get back to Texas.
Though we expected a boring, corporate setlist, Don surprised everyone with an "autumn-ally" themed first part of the show. He did covers of "September Song", "I Put a Spell on You" and a gorgeous rendition of "It Don't matter to the Sun."
Don did his standard fare as well, (One of These Nights, New York Minute, Heart of the Matter) but changed things up with the lovely slow version of End of the Innocence he did on his 2007 tour.
In a surprise move, Don extended the show with I Will Not Go Quietly. He claimed he wanted to play more because he was just getting warmed up, so he ended things with Please Come Home for Christmas.
All in all, an exciting, surprising and not very predictable show.
Don will be playing the coliseum at Caesars in Windsor, Ontario (near Detroit) on November 6th. Tickets go on sale September 30th. Use the comment space below to arrange meet-ups before the show and to post your comments and reviews after you see the show.
